Handover is where most agencies go quiet. Ours is the most documented week of the project. This page shows the launch sequence hour by hour, the handover pack you receive, what a delivered website actually contains, and what happens the day after.
Nothing here is improvised. The same sequence runs for a five-page brochure site and for a CRM with ten thousand users — only the durations change.
You approve the finished product on your private staging link — every page, every flow, on your phone and desktop, with your real content. Your written "approved" starts the launch clock.
The launch milestone (25%) is paid. Accounts, code and assets begin transferring into your name.
Production hosting is provisioned, SSL certificates issued, DNS records staged at your registrar, backups and monitoring armed. Redirects from any old site are mapped.
A recorded session with your team on the admin panel: adding listings, changing content, reading the lead inbox, exporting reports.
DNS switches, the site goes live on your domain, we verify every page, form, integration and payment flow on production, submit the sitemap to Google, and send you the launch confirmation.
We monitor errors, uptime, speed and the lead inbox for the first day and fix anything immediately.
You receive the full handover pack (below) and we walk through it together. Analytics are reviewed; first-week enquiries are checked end to end.
Thirty days of free defect fixes end. Most clients move onto a monthly retainer for updates and growth; the rest are handed over fully documented.
Your site is live on yourbrand.com. Everything below has been verified on production:
We are monitoring for the next 24 hours. Your handover pack and review call are scheduled for next week.
Illustrative — the launch confirmation every client receives, with the checks for their own product.
Eight things, delivered together, so your business is never dependent on us — or on anyone.
When we say a website is delivered, this is the checklist it has passed. Every item, every time — not just the ones in the proposal.

Mobile apps and multi-user platforms add a few more items to the same checklist.
"What happens when I need a change?" is the question every client asks. Here is exactly what happens — every time, whether it's a new listing page or a new payment flow.
A sentence is enough. We reply the same working day with what it involves, whether it's covered by your retainer or warranty, and when it will be on staging.
Nothing touches your live product. You review the change on staging on your phone or desktop — with your real content — and ask for tweaks.
A written "approved" from you is the trigger. We deploy outside your busy hours, watch analytics and errors for 24 hours, and send you the confirmation.
| Type of request | First reply | On staging | Covered by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Something is broken — a page down, a form not sending | Within hours, any day | Same day | Warranty · Retainer |
| Content change — text, images, a new listing or offer | Same working day | 1–2 working days | Retainer · or you, via the admin |
| New feature — a page, an integration, a flow | Same working day, with a quote or hours estimate | Scheduled on the roadmap | Retainer · or a change request |
| Third-party change — a portal or API update | We usually notice first | As soon as the provider ships | Retainer |
Yes. On full payment you own the design, the code written for your project, the content and the brand assets. Domains, hosting and app-store accounts are in your name from the start. Our reusable platform engine (used in white-label CRMs) stays ours, and you hold a perpetual licence to use it in your product. See clause 6.
Yes. The handover pack includes the repository, deployment instructions and every account. We build with widely-used technology precisely so any competent team can take over. We would rather earn the retainer than lock you in.
Content, listings, offers, team profiles and similar day-to-day changes — yes, through the admin panel, with the recorded training. Code-level changes can be made by your developers using the repository, or by us on a retainer.
For 30 days, defects in the delivered scope are fixed free. After that, a retainer covers fixes with priority response times; without a retainer we quote per request. Outages are always treated as urgent regardless.
Nothing breaks. Hosting, domain and accounts are yours and keep running. You lose monitoring, updates and priority support — and can restart any time with 30 days' notice either way.
No mystery at handover. Everything is yours, documented, and we stay on to keep it growing.
